Mexico’s tax administration has decided to maintain the use of the retail complement with the new version (3.3) of the online digital tax document. Initially when version 3.3 of the online digital tax document was defined, it was implied that this complement would no longer be used. However, the tax administration has confirmed that this complement will remain active, so that companies that already use it can continue to do so or those who wish to start using it can have it available.
The retail complement is used in the retail sector for exchanging commercial information such as the number of items delivered, place of delivery, logistics information and etc. This complement unlike others is not mandatory, but taxpayers must adopt it in order to make information processing more efficient. Sometimes the complement is required for issuing CFDIs in the retail sector.
With EDICOM’s online digital tax document solution, you can automate generation through the Retail Complement with the desired information directly from your management system and send it to the recipient that requires that information. Contact us for more information.
